Timeless Heart
Where the sun shines bright and the world is fine
I walk toward the light with a heart relaxed, benign
Of all the wonders of life with much diversity
I find one that gives me hope and sincerity
So fulfilling is the moment I daily spend
Passionately loving her is a common trend
Vast is the distance we must now share
Love is strong filled with hope and loving care
We lost our youth and dreams are diverse
The love we feel will defiantly transverse
As we into the future willing advance
Doubts present but our hearts willing to chance
Your eyes shine bright with a love so strong
Your lips invite me to wonders, all day long
Your mind determined and filled with passion
You smile bring warmth and longing compassion
In your embrace I see myself losing all restraints
As my heart with desire sees no constraints
Grateful am for the chance to love and cherish
And will be your best friend till the day I perish
Have no gold or riches to bring to you
And what you say I know to be true
A heart in love needs no gold or any reward
But the strength of hope and loving accord

When I need you
When you are close to me my heart is aflame
Just the sound of your voice and I call out your name
When I rest in your arms and I know you are true
You go on and understand, that’s the mystery of you
We will be forever as we go on and on
We will be together until forever has gone
Our love will be strong 'till the sun goes cold
We will love each other 'till the universe is old
When I am weak you are strong when I fall you go on
You will be with me when all the others have gone
Yet when you cry like a child and it breaks me in two
You are all things to me, that’s the mystery of you
In the heat of the day you are my cooling breeze
In cold lonely nights you warm my heart with ease
The rage of the storm you bring comfort and peace
On the road to doubt you are the map to my release
When I look in the mirror I see a lost lonely soul
But when you look at me you see only one goal
I may have my doubts which are tainted with fears
But the beauty of your voice takes away the tears
How do I show my thanks for your gifts so pure?
When I have so little if anything to offer for sure
But you see in me gifts of untold treasures
A sincere “I love you” is there for you to treasure
